Camerano, Loreto, Osimo, Castelfidardo, Polverigi and Offagna

Leaving the coast behind to enjoy wandering through the hills, you’ll find among the first few hilltop towns Camerano with its underground system of caves that developed under its historic centre. At the top of a nearby hill emerges Loreto with the largest Marian Sanctuary in Italy. The fortified Basilica, rich with priceless treasures inside, seems enormous when seen from afar, and offers one of a kind views of the Adriatic for those who walk around its structure.

Castelfidardo, capital of the accordion and home to the International Museum dedicated to the instrument, and Osimo with its thirteen headless statues from the Imperial Roman era, definitely warrant a visit, the same goes for Polverigi and Offagna. The historic town of Offagna, included among the most beautiful villages in Italy, is dominated by the Medieval Fortress home to the Museum of Antique Weapons, and the centrepiece which the massive Medieval Festival in July revolves around.
